For over 10 years now, the City University Islamic Society has been at the forefront of student activities. Its primary purpose is to cater the needs of our Muslim students and to promote the ideals of Islam to non-Muslims in the university.
We are here for ALL Muslims, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender or sect. We have a proud history of non-partisanship and are in strict adherence to the Quran and Sunnah. We are located in the basement of the Gloucester building and have 2 large prayer rooms with separate Wudu Facilities.
What does the Islamic Society provide?

Prayer Rooms & Wudu facilities (for brothers and sisters)

Jum'aa Khutbah and Salah (Friday Prayers)

Prayer Rm:
Our prayer rooms and wudu facilities are located in the basement of the Gloucester Building. Jum'aa Salah, weekly circles, Iftar etc are all held in the prayer rooms. You will need to swipe your City University ID card to get into the building.
Sisters: As you enter, take a left and walk down the stairs.
Brothers: Take a right, walk down the corridor until you reach a brown door. Open the door and walk down the stairs.
